It was my Mom and Dad's 21st Anniversary last January 11 and the best way to celebrate it is through a star-studded nonstop entertainment. I found out about this themed cafe through my friend's recommendation. He keeps blabbering about the grandness of the interiors and the staff and crew dressed in character from the movies.
The Star Movies Cafe opened last December 5, 2012 at SM By the Bay, Seaside Blvd., Mall of Asia in Pasay City. It's a franchise from Japan which looks like an entertainment hub for late night office workers and people who just simply want a fab night out. The main concept of the resto bar is obviously movies featured in the Star Movies Channel. Some of the famous movies posted were Pirates of the Carribean, Ghost, Transformers, Shrek, Iron Man, and other Marvel movies.

We are just in the right time for the night show and witnessed the famous movie characters danced at the stage. They were really good and entertaining!
The shifting of lights had different effects on stage(really nice!). And We got so hanged up by their performance, we can't decide which food to order!
Look at Tinkerbell serving us!
While waiting for our orders, another performance from the Star Wars Robots rolled on stage!
Superb Robotic Dance
The staff getting ready for their next performance

Iron Man pointing at you!
Loving this cool ceiling detail
Comfortable and Modern tables and chairs
You feel the limelight and you'll never get outdated with movies because you'll see tvs all over the place!
I love the idea of brick red walls and framed photos of famous movie stars! You'll definitely feel you're in a movie shoot. Ceiling lights and wall lamps were set up to capture that Hollywood and starry feeling!
They even have this complete set of drums for the live band!
If you want to eat while viewing the bay, you can do so!
Ofcourse, here's a handful of our photos inside the bar!
Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!
And more photos of our sumptuous meal! Oh well, another diet failure! :( They offer foods, commonly served with alcoholic drinks. We call it pulutan in the Philippines. Most of their customers that night ordered a bottle of beer except us, of course.
It was a memorable night indeed, especially for our parents, since its their first time to be inside an actual entertainment bar!
When we went outside, my sister asked me to take her outfit shots but we saw Atom, from Real Steel standing by the window. We grab the opportunity to take pictures with him but I only get to pick this one with my very famous thumb sign. :)
(Crap that messy hair)
Two thumbs up for the Star Movies Cafe! :>
